Monster tires and some more new parts.

Got some Proline Trencher X's mounted on 1/2" offset Desperado wheels, and a few parts to turn my Savage X to an XL.

Major Progress Made!

It's been a while since I've updated this. Sorry about that. But there has a lot of progress to the truck. I was having some tuning problems and with help from some guys on Savage Central I found out that my clutch burnt out. I got my new one in there and now I should be good to go. I also took a big step and convert my Savage X to an XL. So without further ado here are the pictures.

Doing some more damage...

So I took that trip to the skate park on Friday, and boy was it fun. Unfortunately I didn't get any video this time  because I was alone. I've got to get a tripod to set the camera on. I did a few back flips and front flips, got some major air too, I'm talking over 10".

However, while coming out of a back flip I landed full throttle and stripped a spur gear. The gear is plastic and pretty much sacrificed itself to save the transmission. Here's a picture of the stripped gear.

I just thought I'd put up some quick pics of my Savage. I should have some more video for you guys soon, I plan to take trip to the skate park today to do some stunts. Hopefully I can find someone to play cameraman for a few quick shots. So without further adieu here's my (mostly stock) Savage.

My first break!

I took the Savage out for a quick bash tonight (boy was it cold) and I had my first accident. I broke the upper control arm. Nothing really more to say about that.

If anyone has any suggestions for what I should replace it with please feel free to let me know in the comments. Oh and here are a couple pictures, I'll update this post with more later.

New Parts!

Just got my brand new Savox servo the SC-0251MG. I'll be using it as my steering servo since the one that comes with the truck decided to die on me. Here are some quick pics of it and I'll have it in later today and hopefully I'll be able to get some more bashing videos.

Getting dirty on day 1

I call this "Get'n Dirty" this was day 1 for me and my 2011 Savage X 4.6. I also took it to the skate park for some stunts, I was glad to see that the people there were very welcoming and gave me some space to "take flight". I landed my first backflip and it was an incredible feeling. Somehow my steering servo crapped out on me that day but my new one is in the mail and I should be back up and running by this weekend. Hopefully I'll have some more videos for you guys. Stay tuned.
